A Chic Couple

Yesterday I bought this great new couple’s pose from {.:exposeur:.}, which is probably one of my favorite pose shops in SL. It’s called “I Found a Girl, and is one of RubyStarlight Writer’s newest and. It’s so well done, I didn’t have to adjust anything for Zach and I! Since Zach is out of town in RL for work right now, I had a great excuse to do a couple shot, which is something we haven’t done in a LONG time!

I thought we should dress up all classy-like and run around the grid together, visiting clubs and shops. We took the pictures first, but didn’t get around to tearing up the grid really – Zach fell asleep at his keyboard!

I’m wearing a dress by MichaMi, and one that is available for a great price at The Dressing Room. Though I was initially disappointed that the skirt insert wasn’t mesh, I fell head-over-heels in love with the color, which is my favorite. I love the shoulder pads, and the prim skirt insert is so well done that I don’t really miss the mesh at all. The neckline is both sexy and sophisticated. It’s a favorite mini of mine now, and I’ll be visiting the main store to look for more colors!

My skin is the newest creation by Natalie Wells of Deesse’s Skins, called “Diva”. It’s absolutely stunning, and I love the face, one of the most striking I’ve seen in a long time. She’s a mature, but fresh, face. I’m wearing the no eyebrow option with the red eyebrow enhancing tattoo from Miamai, and my freckles are also Miamai.

And my shoes. OMG, my shoes! They are the newest release of heels from Redgrave. I am not a big fan of prim feet, I don’t like to fuss with the colors. But these mesh beauties were just such a steal, I couldn’t pass them up. Needless to say I’m hooked, and I cannot wait to see what footwear will come out of Redgrave in the future!

Okay, and now on to Zach. His pants and shirt are both Redgrave. I think he looks cute in them…?  They are well crafted, thought I wouldn’t wear them. They aren’t to my taste. But they are for men, after all…

Zach has taken to wearing glasses in SL, similar to the ones he wears in RL, though these are bigger. He picked this pair up at the Dressing Room, because they match my dress! And I always giggle when I see him wearing his lashes… and isn’t his BodyCo skin yummy? He has a Midwestern-boy-next-door sorta look, yes?

I’ve been wearing quite a bit of red hair lately, since it is my RL hair color, and I’ve fallen in love with the “Sunset” shade from Exile. This style, called “Tonight Tonight” is one of Kavar Cleanslate’s many amazing mesh hairstyles. If you are a lover of mesh hair and haven’t vistited Exile yet, for God’s sake… GO!

My jewelry set is by the talented Poulet Koenkamp of Purple Moon. This set, and the other color variations available, are staples in my inventory now. It’s called “Majestic” and works well with both casual and formal styles.

A summery post!

Woo-hoo! My first post on my new blog! 😀

I just wanted to do a quickie post wearing some of my favorite pieces that I’ve acquired lately. The colors in this outfit are all inspired by my skin, which is cStar Limited’s newest beauty, “Priscilla” in Cream. This skin is totally stunning, with a bright & summery blue/yellow makeup, perfect for the runway or just for dramatic everyday looks. She comes in four different tones, and she is limited edition, so HURRY!

Yula Finesmith is on a roll lately, releasing new designs constantly, and many of them have a casually elegant look to them, and still others are strikingly dramatic. The necklace I’m wearing, “Here Comes the Sun”, I actually had the pleasure to wear for the vendor art. It has 24(!) gem textures and 4 metal change textures to choose from, so it SHOULD go with just about anything in your inventory. My earrings are also by Finesmith, but they are from the Chakra set, and they have the exact same color change options as my necklace.

My dress is from Vive Nine, which is a newish store to me, but one I cannot stay out of now that I’ve discovered it! The designer, Inna Bilavio, has released one of the largest selections of dresses and skirts with prim inserts that I’ve seen, and the selection is huge. There really isn’t anything in her store that I wouldn’t buy!

And finally, my wonderful, braided hair is by Discord Designs. It’s rigged mesh, so the ponytail moves with my AO, and looks pretty natural. Discord Designs has some of the best braids in SL, so if you haven’t checked them out yet, I recommend that you do!

Well, that’s all this time, maybe my blogging skills will improve by the time I do the next post? 😛
